Fire Operations in the Urban Interface:
This class is designed to meet the training needs for
Initial Attack Incident Commanders, company officers and
individuals assigned to the Urban Interface. Units include:
Size-Up, Initial Strategy and Action Plan, Structure Triage,
Tactics, Safety, Action Plan Assessment and Public Relations.

Classroom 24-32 hours.

Wildland /Brush Truck Emergency Driving
The course contains knowledge and skills required to
operate Fire Vehicles in the Wildland Fire Environment.
Topics will include: Basic Maintenance, Driver Safety, Federal
Rules and Regulations and Vehicle Safety. The Candidate
will be required to Drive a Brush Vehicle on a Wildland/
Off Road Competency Course.

S-330 Strike Team/Task Force Leader:
This course will provide the student with the skills to
perform as a Strike Team/Task Force Leader in a State or
Federal Deployment. The Course contains several scenarios
and exercises job related to all types of disasters Nationwide
acting in a Supervisory Role. This is an excellent class
for Fire Company Officers, Initial Incident Commanders,
Firefighters and Emergency Personnel who fall under State
and Federal Deployment or Mutual-Aid Response System.

S-130 Wildland Firefighter Training:
This entry-level class is designed for Wildland Firefighting
Certification under the NIIMS Wildland and Prescribed Fire
Qualification System.

The purpose of this course is to train new and existing
firefighters in Wildland Firefighting skills. Fire Suppression,
Basic Fire Behavior, Fire Weather, and Wildland Safety and
Survival.

S-190 Introduction to Fire Behavior
This entry-level class is designed for Wildland Firefighting
Certification under the NIIMS Wildland and Prescribed Fire
Qualification System.

The purpose of this course is to train new and existing
firefighters in Wildland Firefighting skills. Fire Suppression,
Basic Fire Behavior, Fire Weather, and Wildland Safety and
Survival.
